Mister Monster Maker and ScenarioMaker, utilities for scenario Designers

Sword Dream is a modular, never-ending game: the application itself is just an engine which allows the player to enjoy the actual adventure (also known as a "scenario"). There are currently five different scenarios available, and at least four more are under development.
In the past, Scenario developers had to use ResEdit to create their worlds. Mister Monster Maker can be used instead of ResEdit: its helpful templates, inspired by the Assistants in ClarisWorks, allow the designer to create freely, and quickly: monsters and treasures, spells and encounters and more - over a dozen entities.

You just start choosing the kind of entity you'd like to create, from a list.

Then, you answer a series of questions, and the application generates the entity for you. Mister Monster Maker will also give helpful suggestions, and show relevant statistic data (like, how much damage will your new monster inflict in combat agains an average player?)
Mister Monster Maker also contains a complete manual and a help system.

Feel free not to believe us, but the picture below actually shows the most complex screen you will meet in using MMM. Everything else is simpler.

ScenarioMaker

The tools a scenario Developer has available also include Scenario Maker, a custom application that allows you to graphically create the places and arenas where action takes place. Right now, Scenario Maker is at version 1.7.1, and is only able to process two-dimensional constructs. The next version, to be released together with Sword Dream 3D, will feature 3D functionalities.
Right now, Scenario Maker (shown below) is not available as shareware: it is only sent to those who pay the shareware fee for Sword Dream. We are considering a different solution for Dream 3D
Mister Monster Maker is freeware.
