Paladins and ruffians together?
Q: You're cheating!!! In your story about the Golden Eagle, [see the library in Return to Dawn Valley] there are a paladin and a ruffian in the same group. Why doesn't the Dream engine allow it??? Maybe a ruffian could be good and chaotic?
A: Uh, eh... I didn't think about that. What about an "extraordinary character" explanation?
Truth is, that story is a reminiscence of a role playing campaign I once played. The rules in the game we were playing at the time allowed the presence of both thieves and champions-warriors of good in the same group. Dream does not, and that is it.
